The Transportation sector of AL-AYUNI has played an important role in developing road infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by constructing well-laid-out roads and converting numerous single roads into highways.
This sector is considered as one of the mainstays of AL- AYUNI since the beginning of its rise in the early 1960s.
AL-AYUNI exceeded all the limits of success by constructing over 5000 km single and double roads and more than 455 bridges throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
AL-AYUNI was the leading partner of CTW400 Consortium which was responsible for building a 500 km long railway track connecting Riyadh with the Northern region of Saudi Arabia. The Project was successfully completed and the railway line became operational in late 2015.
As a result of the successful implementation of CTW400, AL-AYUNI was awarded another railway project, CTW320, in the north of Saudi Arabia.
Other key projects awarded to the Railway Business Unit include:
- SAR Facilities Track Connection at Hail (SFTCH) Project with Saudi Arabian Railways (SAR).
- Signaling & Telecommunication (Packages S&T110, S&T120, S&T130, S&T140, S&T320) project with Saudi Arabian Railways (SAR) as a JV with THALES Co.
- Railway Network (1650 km) General Maintenance Project with Saudi Railways Organization (SRO).
